The bolt locks automatically when the door closes without collision noise, helping keep entrances quiet.
There is no need to distinguish left or right door direction, so the same lock suits both sides and inside or outside mounting.
If the door is not opened after unlocking, the lock relocks automatically after about 15 seconds for added security.
